The two-time All-NBA selection is still recovering from an injury that sidelined him last year. Because of this injury, the opportunity will give him a chance to prove to other NBA teams that he is still healthy in order for him to explore the NBA free agency market again next summer.
Cousins, 27, averaged 25.2 points, 12.9 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game in the 2017-18 season in only 48 games played.
DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins began his NBA career in 2010 after being drafted by the Sacramento Kings. He played 7 seasons with the Kings before being traded in 2017 to the New Orleans Pelicans.
