Now we come to the final game of the NFL Divisional round. This NFC match-up features the (13-3) Green Bay Packers taking on the (11-5) Seattle Seahawks. The Packers were tied for top seed in the NFC which gave them a bye to this round. Seattle on the other hand dispatched of the Philadelphia Eagles in order to secure a spot in the Divisional round. These two teams are very evenly matched, though I reckon nothing would please Seattle more than the chance to beat a division rival to go to the Super Bowl.

Green Bay certainly started of with a bang by scoring a touchdown on their opening drive. Aaron Rodgers would find Devante Adams for a 20-yard touchdown and an early 7-0 lead. Seattle would get a field goal to cut the deficit before the end of the quarter courtesy of Jason Myers. Myers mad good on a 45 yard attempt before the end of the quarter making it a 7-3 game after one. Green Bay started the 2nd quarter the same way they did the 1st, with a touchdown. This one came from the teams other Aaron, Aaron Jones would run it left for a yard and the Green Bay touchdown. After Seattle missed a 50-yard field goal attempt the Packers would add to their 14-3 lead with another major. Jones would score his 2nd touchdown of the day on the following Packers drive. Another 1-yard run but no less impact-full as now Green Bay had a 21-3 lead going into halftime.
Hold onto your butts people because Seattle started mounting a comeback. On the opening drive of the 2nd half. The returning veteran Marshawn Lynch would score Seattle’s opening touchdown on a 1-yard run cutting the lead to 21-10. The Packers would answer immediately with a touchdown of their own. Devante Adams would haul in his 2nd touchdown catch of the game, this one was a 40 yard score. This put the Packers up 28-10, but not for very long. Seattle would get a passing touchdown of their own as Russell Wilson would find Tyler Lockett for the 7-yard touchdown, making it a 28-17 Packers lead with one quarter to go. A great start for the Seahawks on in the final quarter as they’d pull within a single score. Lynch would get his 2nd 1-yard touchdown of the game, and with a failed 2-point convert the score was now 28-23. That is where things would stay as the Packer offence was able to run out the clock and put the game away.
